Pencils, Crayons and Other Tools
At the beginning of the school day each student should have a minimum of two wood pencils or one mechanical pencil .
The wood pencils should be sharp and if a mechanical pencil is being used, extra lead should be stored in the student’s personal cubby. My favourite mechanical pencil is a Staedtler Mars micro 0.9mm with HB lead.
Along with the pencil students should have a proper eraser.

A package of colored pencils is a great addition to a student’s design tools. The student's name should be on the box.
Students should also have a hand-held sharpener. Colored pencils should not be sharpened using the classes’ pencil sharpener.
